Vendors typically have 1-2 days each month that they submit data to the credit bureaus so depending on the timing of your purchase you could see the trade as quick as 2 weeks or up to 45 days. Keep in mind this also can depend on the date that your credit reports refresh as well!

Not to initially set the account up, but if you don't receive Net 30 terms you'll need to add a payment method which can be a bank account and you may need to add a bank account in order to pay your invoice if you were given Net 30 terms!

Hi there, the Shell Small Business Card (the red one) requires a Personal Guarantee so we do not cover it in the video. The Shell Fleet Navigator Card (the yellow one) is the version that can be used at 95% of stations. The Shell Fleet Plus Card (gray) can be used at Shell and some Jiffy Lube locations

The identity verification is typically a softpull! And that goes for majority of vendors that ask for a SSN strictly for identity verification

Quill does in fact still report! There was a brief window of a couple months mid last year where they did not but began reporting again right after. We've heard potentially from hundreds of clients over the years that called their customer service and were told something similar despite them still reporting. We still use Quill and still see them report to Dun & Bradstreet!

Hi Crissy! If you opened an account within the last 1-2 months it likely won't have this checkbox; accounts opened prior to then still show it in their account settings. New accounts don't display it but you can still purchase and expect the tradeline as long as you follow the purchasing criteria!

Virtual addresses pose issues when used as your physical business location as creditors often see that as a risk factor. In our years of experience with thousands of members we advise not using a virtual address at all but if you have reasons that you need to use a virtual office, our advice would be to only use it for a mailing address. That means your company formation documents with the secretary of state and IRS as well as the business credit bureaus should not have a virtual address listed as your business's physical location. There's more to say on this but we hope this helps!

@@truebuildprogram Thanks so much for the clarification! I use a virtual address as I didn’t want to use my home address for security reasons. People tend to also look up the address now days. Haven’t had any issues so far, but something to think about. Thanks again!

@@truebuildprogram very true, one exception regarding VO's is if the VO has an actual physical office location address - Actual offices, conference rooms, meetings rooms, office space. That is the exception

@@dareckmaurice4295 Not so much an exception, but can be a gray area! We still see clients who even have a physical presence at one of these locations run into problems at a certain stage in building their company's credit. When an underwriter attempts to verify a company's address it makes it difficult if several other companies come up and increases the chance of denials. We advise against using a virtual office or coworking space to avoid unnecessary risk even if its a private office in one of these locations. Underwriters are familiar with virtual offices and typically won't take the time to ask an applicant if they have a private office but may just simply come back with a reply of "unable to verify business address"

Yes! If you pay the invoice too soon sometimes it doesn't give their system enough time to register it. The sweet spot is no sooner than 10 days before and ideally no later than about 7 days before just to avoid accidentally paying it late!

You don't have to put your DNB number anywhere in your Uline account - they actually don't have a field currently to input this information. However it is important to make sure you have one prior to using the account to make sure it reports!

Correct! Quill now offers Net 30 Terms for purchases over $100 - however unlike previously they do not ALWAYS offer the terms even if you meet that purchase amount. Regardless of if they offer them, they do still report even if you're required to pay upfront

Correct! You want to make sure the order is $50 before taxes and shipping

We always recommend paying around 7 days before the due date however if you paid it on the due date, its not guaranteed to report late! If you paid before their payment cut off on that day it should be fine, just check your payment history to make sure they received the payment on the due date!

Good question! You don't have to spend $50 every month, you just want to make a minimum $50 purchase ($100 if possible) 1-2 times and you can certainly continue utilizing the account afterwards but it is not required!

Yes, and this isn't an EXACT window but more of a general time frame when it is good to make the payment. You just don't want to pay the invoice too soon as you want to give enough time to trigger the trade to report but you also don't want to cut it too close to the due date and risk a late payment due to processing times!

If your mailing address is different than your business address, you want to make sure to set the Billing Address in Quill as the same address that appears on your credit reports. You can then add a separate Shipping Address which you can make the mailing address, hope this helps!

some business report every 3 months, on a quarterly basis. I would suggest buying 2 times a month from them. so order something that comes up to $50 one week and then order again for something that comes up to $50 the week after or after the first product arrives pay of your account on time do this for 3 months the more you order the better, to be honest. I would also suggest looking into ecredable for business it's like Experian boost but for business, they will report your tradelines to all the business credit berus just make sure you have on-time payments because they also report late payments which can hurt your business credit profile.

Hi there, it is best to wait to pay the invoice until 10 days before the Due Date so about 3 weeks after the Invoice Date. There isn't a place within your Quill login where it will show a credit line, we advise giving them a call to ask if a credit line was assigned!
